Arch Rock presents at WSN-SIG

Words of wisdom: “Don’t bet against IP.” Which isn’t suprising coming from a company claiming to “enable[ing] the next tier of the Internet.” David gave a good “101″ on wireless sensor networks to the audience at hand. Although, most questions were geared more towards the what, how, when regarding Arch Rock’s products. Still keeping a tight lid on the details, David did mention key words during the event: “IP”, “enterprise”, and an enticing picture of a spreadsheet w/ wsn icons.
CPUC going forward with statewide Time of Use pricing.

Further in the article they report,”William Booth, attorney for the California Large Energy Consumers Association, said the pricing would have the biggest impact if used for residents. He argued that demand for electricity is highest during the summer, when millions of home air conditioners switch on. Still, he doesn’t expect regulators will force the pricing on residents.”
