Shapes:
Slip casting is very flexible in regards to shape, and can produce
any of the geometries in the MAS, however, parts with a constant
cross section shape are much more appropriately made with ceramic
extrusion. Thus the constant cross section shape is deemed invalid
with slip casting. We add that this process is usually used to generate
parts with a constant wall thickness.
Compatible shapes are
of the following categories:
- Free Form Drape
- Free Form General
- Prismatic
- Surface of Revolution
- Thin Wall
